Bacelona thrashed Real betis 5-2 in Front of home crowd

Spanish Laliga champions “Barcelona” came from one goal behind to defeat Real Betis 5-2 and clinch their first Spanish League victory this 2019/2020 season.

Earlier the previous week, the Catalans kicked off their title defence with a defeat at the San Mames Stadium thanks to Aritz Aduriz’s late minute goal.

However, it was looking like the Blaugrana were going to suffer yet another defeat, but this time in front of their home crowd when Nabil Fekir scored the first goal of the match for the visitors ahead just after 15 minutes of action.

It took the brilliance of the summer signing “Antoine Griezmann” who eqialized for the home team just four minutes before the end of the first half. And this was his first goal since he made the switch from Atletico Madrid to Bacelona this transfer window.

The Frenchman recorded his first brace for the La Liga champions after scoring the second  for his side ahead for the first time in the game in the 50th minute.

Antoine Griezmann sent the ball into the left corner of the post after connecting with Sergi Roberto’s pass from the right side of Betis danger zone. Barca didn’t feel much of Lionel Messi’s absence as Carles Perez handed the home team a two goal advantage in the 56th minute

Also, Jordi Alba got on the scores sheet on the hour mark after connecting with compatriot Sergio Busquets.
Substitute “Arturo Vidal” only needed about three minutes after replacing Busquets to find the back of the net in the 77th minute.
