Bayern Munchen Held to a 1-1 draw away to RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig remain top of the
Bundisliga table with their hard fought 1-1 draw at home to defending champions
Bayern Munchen on Saturday.
The home team survived the
first half onslaught by frustrating the visiting team with their great
performance in front of the home crowd.

Polish captain Lewandoski scored
the opening goal of the game with in 3 minutes of the first half, which the
visiting team dominated all through. However RB Leipzig equalized just before
the half time break through “Emil Forsberg” penalty and a little help from VAR.
The VAR decision in favour of
RB Leipzig left Bayern Munchen surprised as they themselves had a penalty
retracted by VAR ten minutes earlier.
Bayern Munchen could have won
the game in the dying seconds of the game when “Niklas Suele” bobbling header
only grazed the post.
The draw currently leaves Bayern
Munchen in third position of the league table, while RB Leipzig maintain the
top position with just a point above Borrusia Dortmud.
