The Nigeria Football Federation (previously known as Nigeria Football Association until 2008) is a branch of Nigeria’s football governing body.
The country football governing body was established in the year 1945 and the first Nigerian national football team was created 4years later in 1949.
It officially joined CAF in the year 1959 and FIFA in in the 1960. Its current headquarters is located in the capital city of Abuja.
Currently, ‘NFF” organises three competative leagues namely: The Nigerian Premier League, the Amateur League and the Women’s League. Also other competitions, includes the Federation Cup and Women’s Cup.
