Paris Saint Germain defeat RB Leipzig, Qualify For First Ever Champions League Final.


In a great display of class, PSG Outclass Leipzig, Qualifing For
the First Ever Champions League Final wth a 3-0 victory over their opponent.
This will be the first time a French team will reach for the
Champions League final since AS Monaco in the 2003/2004 season.
PSG scored the first goal in the 13th minute as Marquinhos out
jumped his markers to head home Di Maria’s set piece pass.
In the 42nd minute PSG doubled their lead through Di Maria who
finished off a clever assist from Neymar after a mistake in Leipzig’s defence.
And in the 56th minute Bernat added the third goal by heading in
Di Maria’s cross from the left.
PSG will now wait for the winner of the second semi-final
between Bayern Munich and Lyon which will take on Wednesday night 19th
August.
PSG becomes the fifth French side to reach the European
Cup/Champions League final, with only England (8), Germany and Italy (both 6)
having more finalists than France.
Records so far reveals only Marseille have won the Champions
League after a shock 1-0 win against AC Milan in 1993.
